HONEYCERAM®
HONEYCERAM® is an essential for exhaust gas purification. It is an insert to the catalytic converter and serves to neutralize the harmful substances found in vehicle exhaust. HONEYCERAM® is a powerful unit that is small enough to hold in your hand, yet has a surface area the size of two soccer fields. This is due to the honeycomb structure design that makes it possible to create large surfaces within very small spaces. Furthermore, thin, lightweight walls that are only 0.05 mm thick maximize exhaust purification efficiency. The thin walls also minimize loss of engine power. HONEYCERAM® is made using cordierite ceramics and demonstrates outstanding performance unimpaired by high temperature and sudden temperature changes accompanying vehicle exhaust.
Premeasured Weight Batches
We mix up the powder at our plant according to very specific recipes provided by our sister plants. The powder is put into a large bag called a supersack, when completed we call this a weigh batch. We ship these materials off to our sister plants around the globe, which they can use to make HONEYCERAM. We export 34 thousand metric tons of powder per year.
